Dreams of summer fading as the year lengthens the scent of autumn

I saw your face as I slept beneath the moon glowing you smiled with sparkling eyes then faded into the void

Within the dream  my world  so perfect  revolves around time that is gone

in the kitchen the washing machine ends its cycle outside the sky turns grey over this urban prison

sand grains fall counting the heartbeats of time echoes of forever silence fills the empty wait between pulses in time

ripening cherries waiting for sun and rain your scent in the air
